Performance Analyst
Scope of the role
- Working as part of production department, a varied role that involves planning the day to day factory workflow and throughput.
Main Responsibilities & Activities:
- Planning factory wide throughput and workflow for all sections.
- Ensure daily performance targets are met and continuous monitoring occurs to achieve them.
- Progress chase urgent jobs, creating schedules and updating plans.
- Have awareness of quality standards/procedures and ensure these are followed.
- Identify and implement countermeasures when deviations to plans occur in a timely manner.
- Performance review for all employees based on data captured on Infor.
- Controlling adherence to the WTL whereby departmental and business targets are achieved.
- Updating Skills matrix based on feedback from Leading Hands and Supervision.
- Machine Monitoring to ensure machines and facilities are optimised.
- Creating KPI’s for each section.
- Monitoring and putting recommendation in place to improve throughput.
- Reporting on departmental achievements in an accurate and concise manner to the Assistant Production Manager and Production Manager.
- Engaging and motivating Team-Members through positive, effective and timely communication.
- Communicating effectively with Team-Members to ensure that information is transmitted clearly.
- Periodically reviewing team-members strengths and weaknesses, in an effort to identify development opportunities.
- Dealing with poor performance in a timely manner, with an appropriate style and response to ensure performance improvement.
- Dealing with repeated or serious poor performance through the Company Disciplinary Policy, (highlighting and recording informal warnings).
- Carrying out additional ‘reasonable tasks’ as required.
