Salary Range: Grade 7 (£23,555) to Grade 10 (£27,993) per annum dependent on experience, plus shift premium

Description of Position

• Working as part of the Quality team, you will ensure that through various inspection methods, product meets customer requirements.
• Where required you will compile quality reports, and work within automated Inspection Cell
• The role will also require you to set up and run the part marking process

Main Responsibilities and Activities

• Inspection of finished product to meet customer specification
• Inspection of intermediate product ensuring correct specification is met
• Compilation of quality reports where required
• Automated Inspection Cell
• Set and run the part marking process
• Where required work within other areas of the Quality department
• Other duties as deemed relevant in the fulfilment of the position

Experience and Qualifications

Essential

• Ability to use various inspection equipment
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and methodical approach to tasks
• Ability and willingness to work within a team

Desirable

• Engineering knowledge base/ background
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
• Computer literate
• Possess strong organisational skills
